Crowdfunding platform StartEngine announced on its website that it plans to crowdfund an unspecified amount of money for its own operations, reports SoCal Tech. The crowdfunding company has given itself a $65 million pre-money valuation.

Pelican Products Unveils iPhone 8 and iPhone X Cases

Plastic case manufacturer Pelican Products unveiled two new cases for the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, according to a press release. The cases are made with steel wiring, Kevlar and rubberized corners.

Snapchat Expands Emmy Awards Coverage Under Three-Year Deal

Snap Inc., the Snapchat app’s parent company, has renewed its partnership with the Television Academy with a new three-year agreement, reports Variety. Under the pact, Snapchat will present curated “Stories” of snaps capturing personal and behind-the-scenes moments at the Emmys – including content from this year’s host Stephen Colbert.
