Joymode Set To Show Off Experiences At Pop Up Shop

Los Angeles-based Joymode, the new startup led by Joe Fernandez which is hoping to people to invest in experiences, not stuff, is hoping to show off its new service with a pop-up shop in Sunset Junction next week. Joymode says it will be opening up to the public next Wednesday, on December 7th, showing off all of the experiences offered up through the service. Joymode lets people rent packages of products--such as giant games of Jenga, virtual reality headsets, electric scooters, Snapchat Spectacales, and everything for a backyard movie night--letting users create memories and fun without having to buy a pile of "stuff" they won't ever use again. Joymode said that the new pop-up shop will also be the first place people can sign up for the service without a special invitation. Fernandez is a serial entrepreneur, who previously founded Klout. Joymode said the pop-up shop will be open through December. Sunset Junction is in Silverlake, around Sunset Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard.
