Ross Levinsohn Accused Of Sexual Harassment

Ross Levinsohn, the publisher and CEO of the Los Angeles Times--and longtime, influential veteran of Southern California's high tech industry--is under investigation by the owner of the LA Times, Tronc, after an in-depth examination of Levinsohn's conduct by NPR during his time in the high tech industry. According to the report, Levinsohn was accused of sexual harrassment in the past--with two settlements--and also rated the relative "hotness" of female colleagues and used vulgar epithets against gays, among other behavior. Levinsohn has deep ties into Southern California's high tech industry, and formerly had been CEO of Yahoo; and is an investor or sits on the boards of such companies as SteelHouse, Wevr, Attn:, Stocktwits, Pluto.TV, MarketShare, and many others. Levinsohn was behind Fox Interactive Media (FIM)'s acquisition of MySpace.
