I signed up for Facebook before many – in 2005 – when I first moved back to the US. So throughout 2006/07 when I had really young kids Facebook was truly a social network for sharing family moments. Others had very few connections and they used it to share personal information. I was always more the latter.

Grip was sort of a better social Better Business Bureau, which let people post their complaints and get resolution in public, non-anonymously.
