Viridos In Algae Biofuels Effort With ExxonMobil

La Jolla-based Viridos (formerly known as Synthetic Genomics) said it has signed a joint development agreement with ExxonMobil, with the intent to bring its low carbon biofuels towards commercial levels. Viridos was foudned in 2005 and has been working on synthetic, engineered microalgae intended to improve the production of biofuels.
