Rustic Canyon Boosts InSync

Both had invested in InSync in 2006. Santa Monica-based venture firm Rustic Canyon , along with Intel Capital, has put more into Silicon Valley-based InSync Software , a developer of software for the RFID and supply chain tracking business. According to InSync, it has raised $4.7M in a Series B funding from the two investors.

GOOD Gets Funding Round

Ben Goldhirsch founded GOOD in 2006, and prior to this round was funded by Goldhirsch himself, who told the New York Times in 2006 that he planned to invest $10M in the company over the next 5 years. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. Goldhirsh is the son of Inc. magazine founder Bernie Goldhirsch.

Internet Connectivity Group Ups Funding To $8.2M

According to the filing, the funding includes equity, debt, and warrants received since July of 2006. Lake Forest-based Internet Connectivity Group , which is developing wireless equipment for connecting digital signage to the Internet, has now raised $8.2M in funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm today.

ReachLocal Acquires Rest Of Australian Joint Venture

InnerCool Therapies Acquired By Philips

InnerCool was acquired by Cardium Therapeutics in March of 2006 for around $6M, and develops and manufactures disposable catheter systems. San Diego-based InnerCool , a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardium Therapeutics, has been acquired by Royal Philips, Philips said Wednesday.

Tanner Research Gets $1.2M Army Contract

Tanner Research scored its initial contract for the technology in 2006. Monrovia-based Tanner Research has received a $1.2M contract from the Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), the firm said Friday afternoon, in additional funding as part of a research program.
