VMIX Eyes Maven Networks' Customers

San Diego-based VMIX is eyeing customers of Maven Networks, a provider of video hosting owned by Yahoo, saying Wednesday that it will help customers of Maven to migrate to VMIX. VMIX said it is offering to migrate hosting and delivery of media to former Maven Networks customers to VMIX, without any transfer or setup fees.

OpenX Announces Customer Numbers

Pasadena-based OpenX Technologies , which develops ad serving software used by online publishers, is reporting this morning that it has added more than 8,000 publishers since it launched its product in October of 2008. According to OpenX, the new customers are using both its downloadable software, as well as a hosted version of its product.
