MySpace Music Names Execs

Los Angeles-based social networking web site MySpace said Tuesday afternoon that it has named three executives for the firm's music community, MySpace Music. According to the firm, it has hired on Jamie Kantrowitz as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Global Marketing, Alex Maghen serves as Chief Technology Officer, and Nancy Taylor as Lead Counsel. Kantrowitz was most recently SVP International Marketing and Content for MySpace; Maghen was CTO at Yahoo! Music / Launch Media and at MTV Networks Online; and Taylor was most recently Senior Vice President, Office of the Chairman and CEO of Warner/Chappell Music Inc.
