Cytori Therapeutics Gets $10M In PIPE

San Diego-based Cytori Therapeutics, which is developing medical technologies for regenerative medicine, said late Friday that the firm has raised $10M in a private placement. The firm said the new funding will be used for sales and marketing activities, ongoing clinical studies, research and development, as well as for general working capital. Source of the funding was not disclosed. The firm said the financing may fund its operations through at least 2009. The plan for the funding had been announced March 10th.
