Just about every major event has its own iPhone app and now Lollapalooza is entering the App game for their upcoming concert in Chicago August 6-8, 2010. Just today the partnership was announced with Slacker's Lollapalooza 2010 Radio. This is a great move on Slacker Inc.'s

In October of 2007, at some of the first big Facebook events, we saw hundreds of developers working out of their dorm rooms.

I can’t help feel a bit of rear-view mirror analysis in all of “VC model is broken” bears in our industry. So of course returns from 2000-2010 were subpar on average for the industry. By 2010-2011 this had shrunk by half again, averaging under $15 billion. Today’s Normalization. Everybody is now payment ready.
