Iomega Wins U.S. Ski Team

San Diego-based Iomega, the data storage firm which is now a subsidiary of EMC, revealed this morning that the firm is powering the network attached storage (NAS) devices for the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA), the parent organization for the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding. The firm said its network attached storage is being used at the group's training facility in Park City, Utah. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed, however, Iomega said more than a dozen of its NAS products are being used in a VMware installation at the site.
