YouTube Pulling Back On Original Content

In a move that is expected to hit local content production in Los Angeles, YouTube is reportedly scaling back its plans on original content in a dramatic way, starting in 2020, according to a report. The report--which cites "a source with direct knowledge"--says that Google is dramatically cutting its budget for YouTube Originals, its original content effort.
