AeroVironment Names New CFO

Simi Valley-based Aerovironment, which develops unmanned drones for the military, has named Kevin McDonnell as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the company said late Thursday. McDonnell was most recently Chief Financial Officer of JAMS, Inc., and previously served at Teradata Corporation and was also CFO of Digital Insight. Aerovironment said that its interim Chief Financial Officer, Brian Shackley, will remain as Vice President and Controller. Aerovironment makes unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
