Second Sight Medical Names New CFO

Sylmar-based medical implant maker Second Sight Medical Products announced this morning that it has named John T. Blake as the company's new Chief Financial Officer. Blake was previously Senior Vice President at aTyr Pharma, and also served at Volcano Corporation and BD Biosciences. Blake replaces Thomas Miller, who had been CFO since 2014. Miller apparently had resigned as CFO in June of 2017, but had remained at his post until the company could find a new CFO.
