Pairwise Picks Up $25M

San Diego-based Pairwise Plants, which is applying gene editing to the agriculture industry, said this week that it raised $25M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Deerfield Management and Monsanto Growth Ventures (MGV). Dr. Tom Adams is CEO of Pairwise, which was founded by Drs. Feng Zhang, David Liu and J. Keith Joung.
