Report: Qualcomm To Slash 1500 Jobs In California

A report from Bloomberg, published Thursday afternoon, says that San Diego-based Qualcomm is planning to cut its workforce in California by about 1,500. According to the report, the cut is in response to investors pressuring the company to cut its costs by about $1 billion. Qualcomm has about 34,000 employees globally.
