Elves Tackles Travel Booking With AI, Human Assistance

A new, Los Angeles startup--Elves--said this week that it has launched a new service, aimed at helping users tackle travel booking, using both artificial intelligence and real human beings. According to Elves, it has just launched an app and booking platform, which lets travelers book and change flights via "real, human" travel companions backed by AI technology. Elves said its service, which is available 247, even handles receive reimbursement on flight reservations made through the platform, if the price drops after purchase. The new startup was co-founded by Karim Elsahy and his wife, Abeer Elsisi. The new app runs on iOS, Android, and also works through Facebook Messenger.
