Cognitive Medical Systems Names New CEO

San Diego-based Cognitive Medical Systems, which provides services to public and private organizations services in the area of clinical healthcare delivery, informatics, UI/UX, human factors engineering and enterprise software development, said last week that it has named Christina Murphy as its CEO. Murphy is a bio-pharma executive who also previously had served as a U.S. Marine Corps Colonel. The company said Murphy had a 24 year career in the Marine Corps, where she planned, coordinated, executed, and supervised a wide array of logistics functions, including supply, maintenance, transportation, general engineering, and health services in a variety of environments, including stints in Iraq and Afghanistan.
