Qualified.com, With LA Exec, Gets $12M

Qualified, a startup developing conversational marketing software for companies that use Salesforce, said on Tuesday that it has raised $12M in its Series A funding. The company--whose President and Chief Revenue Officer, Eric Sikola is located in Los Angeles--said the funding was led by Norwest Venture Partners, and also included Redpoint Ventures and Salesforce Ventures. Sikola said Qualified is adding team members in Los Angeles shortly. Scott Beechuk, a partner at Norwest Venture Partners, joins the company's baord of directors. Qualified's software helps marketing and sales teams identify when target buyers arrive on their websites, and starts a conversation with those customers to help increase interaction with those prospects. Sikola previously served at ExpenseCloud and TriNet Cloud in Los Angeles.
