Marlin Equity Acquires Inkling Systems

Los Angeles-based private equity investor Marlin Equity has acquired San Francisco-based Inkling Systems, a developer of enterprise software for field workforce operations management. Financial details of the buy were not announced. The companies said Inkling will continue to operate from its headquarters in San Francisco with its existing executive leadership team. Inkling's customers include McDonald's,Whole Foods, Comcast, Allstate, and Kohl's. Inkling was advised by Piper Jaffray and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in the acquisition.
