Peachjar Names New VPs

San Diego-based Peachjar, which develops software used in the K-12 market to help get flyers and information to parents, has named Joyce Whitby as its new Vice President of Sales, and Tom Motter as Vice President of District Relationships. Whitby was previously National Vice President of Sales for the Education Group and SchoolMessenger division of West Corporation, and also served at VizZle. Motter was President of ConnectED, until its acquisition by Blackboard, when he became President and COO of Blackboard Connect. Motter also served at NextLesson and Social Sentinel. Peachjar says its cloud-based software is used by thousands of schools to help distribute information about extracurricular and enrichment activities for children.
