Rubicon Project, Zynga In Advertising Deal

Los Angeles-based advertising marketplace operator Rubicon Project, and social games developer Zynga have inked a deal to let marketers access Zynga's premium guaranteed advertising inventory, according to the two. The deal will allow programmatic buyers to purchase inventory from Zynga through Rubicon Project's marketplace, including gamified and native ads. Financial arrangements between the two companies were not announced. The two said the relationship is the first time Zynga's premium guaranteed inventory has been available programmatically; the inventory previously only was available via manual sales channels.
