Techstars Los Angeles Sets Kozlov As Head

Startup accelerator network operator Techstars has named Matt Kozlov as Managing Director of Techstars LA, the company's Los Angeles startup accelerator program, the accelerator said on Wednesday. Kozlov previously was Managing Director of the Techstars Starburst Space Accelerator, in addition to serving as Director of the Techstars Healthcare Accelerator in partnership with Cedars-Sinai, two of Techstars' other programs which have been run in the Los Angeles area. Kozlov replaces Anna Barber in the role. Barber stepped down last year to become a Partner at a new venture capital firm, M13. Techstars said that its program is now in its fifth year, and it now has over 40 alumni companies from the LA program; the accelerator said those companies have now raised over $126M in total, and have a combined market cap of $328.6M.
