ScoreStream Connects With Amazon Alexa

San Diego-based ScoreStream, which provides crowdsourced, local sports scores, photos, videos, and more for high school football and other teams, is connecting with Amazon Alexa, the company said on Friday. According to the venture backed startup, it will soon begin offering up real-time, hyper-local prep football scores from thousands of games across the country through Alexa. ScoreStream is led by CEO and co-founder Derrick Oien, and previously has raised venture funding from Intel Capital and Avalon Ventures. Oien previously led Chumby.
