Contour Energy Expands Board

Azusa-based Contour Energy, the developer of advanced battery technology backed by CMEA Capital, Harris and Harris, Schlumberger and US Venture Partners, announced today that it has named automotive executive Francois Castaing to its board of directors. According to Contour Energy, Castaing has 27 years of experience with such firms as Renault, American Motors Corporation and Chrysler. Contour Energy--formerly CFX Battery--said that Castaing will help the firm to identify existing and potentially new automotive and transportation applications which can take advantage of its battery technology. Castaing is known for his work on AMC's Jeep Cherokee SUV. He also currently sits on the boards of TRW and Amerigon. More information »
