Andelman and Mullen, VC Vets, Announce New Venture
Jim Andelman

Two veteran L.A. venture capitalists have formed Bonfire Ventures, a Brentwood VC firm focused on software for businesses.

Jim Andelman, founder of Rincon Venture Partners, and Mark Mullen, founder of Double M Partners and Mull Capital, formed Bonfire Ventures earlier this year, although SoCal Tech just broke the news about the fund’s existence yesterday. Andelman confirmed the news to the Business Journal.

Andelman and Mullen are acting as managing directors for Bonfire Ventures, which has already invested in eight startups, including Redondo Beach’s employee engagement software provider Fuel50.
