Another Monday is here, and another week packed with events is too. Here are five LA tech events you should check out.

As a part of the awesome My LA2050 Challenge, Angelenos are being encouraged to bring forward their ideas on how they can make a LA a better place in the new future. The folks over at My LA 2050 want to make LA a better place right now, and they chose Tuesday night to do it. Head to DTLA for food trucks, cocktails and swag and learn about the program that hopes to make LA the best city in the world (as if it already isn't).
Sales Unplugged: Sales Pro Networking event, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.
The American Association of Inside Sales Professionals, an international group aimed at advancing inside sales globally is hosting an event this Wednesday in Santa Monica. Not sold? IBM's Watson will be in attendance, as will pros from LinkedIn.
Startups in the Sky: VIP Networking @ GetGlobal, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m.
If you're not familiar with Startups in the Sky, a group dedicated to advancing LA's tech ecosystem, you should be. Their monthly events include speakers from some of LA's fastest growing tech startups, but this one is dedicated to something a little more casual: networking. Head down to LA Live this Thursday night to see what's going on with DTLA tech.
Silicon Hollywood Meetup, Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
Looking to get a little networking in this week? The folks over at Laurel & Wolf are hosting an event at their gorgeous headquarters in Hollywood. Drinks and appetizers will be served.
Software Craftsmanship North America 2016, Oct. 21 at 8:30 a.m.
LA plays host to this year's Software Craftsmanship North America (2016), where software developers of all experience levels come together for a loaded list of guest speakers, and, yes, a little coding. It will be a great opportunity to meet some like-minded individuals and learn about the exciting new disciplines being implemented today.
