Disney Pushes Up Frozen 2 Streaming Release

Burbank-based The Walt Disney Company made online streaming of "Frozen 2" available to subscribers of its Disney+ streaming movie service on Sunday, in an early release of the second film in its popular Frozen franchise. The release to Disney+ streaming is three months ahead of schedule. According to Disney, the early release was made to provide "some fun and joy during this challenging period." Disney said that it will make "Frozen 2" available on its streaming service Canada, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand on Tuesday, March 17. The release on Sunday was made in standard definition; Disney said it will make the high definition and Ultra HD video playback available by Tuesday to U.S. subscribers.
