DTS Signs CJ 4DPLEX For Immersive Audio

Calabasas-based DTS, and cinema technology provider CJ 4DPLEX announced this week that CJ 4DPLEX will use the DTS:X immersive audio technology to theaters worldwide, in a deal which will incorporate the DTS:X technology into the CJ 4DPLEX ScreenX theater technology. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to the two, starting sometime this year, DTS will work with ScreenX and exhibitors to implement its DTS:X technology into ScreenX locations. ScreenX is a system which provides a 270 degree field of view for cinematic content.
