Today, we have Aaron Fyke , Founder and Managing Partner of Thin Line Capital (www.thinlinecapital.com). Thin Line Capital successfully reached the final close of its first fund. If it seems strange to find the inventor of Bitcoin living in the San Gabriel Valley, it''s actually not all that surprising given the area is home to one of the most prominent research universities in the United States, The California Institute of Technology ; NASA''s Jet Propulsion Laboratory ; and the original Internet incubator, Idealab.

In just the last few weeks, at least five different incubation/acceleration efforts have booted up in the region. Specifically targeted at clean techonlogy firms, the group has more of a traditional incubator program, offering up office space for 6-8 companies, along with support, resources, and mentorship.
