Greening Your Ride: Entrepreneurial Opportunities in the Transportation Sector. Caltech/MIT Enterprise Forum. Our program will explore how entrepreneurs can interact with utilities, government and the private sector to promote innovative ideas to cut traffic congestion, emissions and transportation. Entrepreneurial opportunities exist in many spaces, including extended range electric vehicles, charging technologies, “Smart Grid” interfaces, “first mile/last-mile” vehicles (electric bikes, scooters, or shared transportation) and software to manage the devices at home and on the road. Speakers include: Geoff Wardle, Art Center College of Design; Randy Churchill, PricewaterhouseCoopers; Whitney Pitkanen, CALSTART; Dick Cromie, SCE; John Simpson, Trikkle Tech; Bill Bogaard, Mayor, City of Pasadena.
