Contour Energy Systems Finds More Funding

Azusa-based Contour Energy Systems, the developer of battery technology based on research from Caltech, said today that it has raised a Series C funding round. The firm said the new funding came from Singapore investment fund EDBI, CMEA Capital, Harris & Harris, Schlumberger, and U.S. Venture Partners. Size of the funding round was not announced by the company. The firm said the additional round will go towards research and development, production capacity expansion, and working capital.
