On December 4-5, 2010 TechZulu will present the Humanity Plus conference live from Caltech (California Institute of Technology).

The conference brings together select leading scientific researchers, engineers, philosophers, physicians, designers, other key stakeholders around a single topic of redefining the human future. Throughout two days, December 4-5, conference talks will map what is in store for our future in exploring high-potential ideas and research strategies.

“Humanity+ uniquely encompasses the entire range of approaches for using technology to fundamentally improve the human condition” states Max More, strategic philosopher and Vice Chair of Humanity+. “It’s ideally positioned to develop and disseminate rationally optimistic thinking about a technologically-improved future, to spur the development of a wide range of pro-technology projects, and to resist those would halt beneficial
technological advance.”

Conference topics include:

Re-Imagining Humans: Mind, Media and Methods

Radically Increasing the Human Healthspan

Redefining Intelligence: Artificial Intelligence, Intelligence Enhancement and Substrate-Independent Minds

Business and Economy in the Era of Radical Technomorphosis
