March Capital Backs Mandal's The Fabric

Los Angeles-based March Capital Partners has joined Verizon Ventures in backing a new, early stage investment accelerator--called The Fabric--whose co-founders include Sumant Mandal, a Managing Partner at March Capital Partners, and former Managing Partner at Clearstone Ventures. The Fabric says it has raised $15M in a funding round, which came from Verizon Ventures and March Capital Partners, for its efforts to co-create, fund and accelerate companies in the cloud/IoT infrastructure space. The company says it is still raising money in that funding round, hoping to bring its new funding to a total of $20M. The Fabric's co-founders include Mandal, along with Rajan Raghavan and Prabakar Sundarrajan; the company has offices in Mountain View and in Chennai, India. More information »
