Jacked Acquired By Roundbox

Santa Monica-based Jacked, a developer of second-screen, companion applications for TV broadcasts, has been acquired by Roundbox, a New Jersey-based developer of mobile broadcast software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Bryan Biniak, CEO and founder of Jacked, will has joined the advisory board of Roundbox. Jacked developed software which provided real time information--statistics, data, web content, and other information--synchronized with sports and other broadcasts. Roundbox said it would integrate Jacked's technology into its products. Jacked was venture backed by Provenance Ventures, Core Capital Partners and Gabriel Venture Partners.
