EvoNexus Names New Board Members

San Diego-based technology incubator EvoNexus, which has locations in both San Diego and Irvine, has named six new members of its board of directors, the group said this week. According to the group, it has added Lauren Kelly, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, The Irvine Company; Bridget Kimball, Chief Architect & Fellow, Intuit; Eddy Ortiz, Vice President of Innovation & Solution Acceleration, Royal Bank of Canada; Go Maruyama, Vice President of Strategic Planning, Murata; Stephen Li, Vice President of Technology Planning & Cooperation, Huawei; and Ivo Bolsens, PH.D., Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, Xilinx to its board. EvoNexus says its portfolio companies have now raised over $1.4 billion in total funding, with 22 startups acquired out of its companies.
