Rubicon Project Names Three Execs

Los Angeles-based online advertising firm Rubicon Project announced this morning that it has hired three new executives. According to the company, it has named Nick Hulse as Chief Revenue Officer, Bill Harries as Vice President of Sales Operations, and Bill McHargue as vice President of North American Sales. Hulse joins from iPass, and also has served at Frontbridge and Tumbleweed; Harries was most recently at Oracle; McHargue joins from AutoWeb. Rubicon also said it has promoted founder Craig Roah to President, Josh Wexler to Senior Vice President Market Development, and Seizo Welch as SVP Finance. Rubicon Project is headed by Frank Addante, and develops ad optimization technology for web publishers, helping them to pick the best ad networks to optimize revenue on their web site. Rubicon Project is venture backed by Clearstone Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, IDG Ventures Asia, GE/NBC Universal's Peacock Equity Fund and News Corporation.
