We’ve all heard of or participated in weekend hackathon events, like Startup Weekend or #Hackfest. They’re always an absolute blast and never disappoint. If you have yet to  engage in one I must highly recommend that you do. You’ll get to network and meet new people, learn new skills, and build rocking products in a weekends’ time.

But as with all good weekends, eventually a Monday arrives. Once you come down from the high, the great product you built slowly fades away or maybe its turned into a company that’s worked on when time is found for it. In comes the creators of Angelhack to change all that and help those great products and teams continue on.

Think of Angelhack as a new disrupter in the hackathon space. Just starting out they’re based out of San Francisco and want to make sure that weekend high of startups and team building continues allowing all that hard work not go to waste but instead see that success is accelerated. Angelhack’s formula allows them to bring in serious players looking to build something and places them in front of interested and looking Angel investors all the while offering them opportunities with top accelerators and incubators. The creators of Angelhack regonized the importance of education and unlike other hackathon events, teams and individuals are provided with the added resources they need to succeed – team building, mentorship, and investor pitch education.

Angelhack gives teams 24 hours, rather than a traditional 54 hours to build out their ideas and concepts then present them to a panel of Angel Investors. Teams are competing not only for spots in top accelerators and incubators, but for $50,000 seed capital, co-working space, iPhones, and other exciting tech products.
