During Twiistup 8 a panel moderated by Jason Nazar (DocStoc) and joined by panelist David Travers (Rustic Canyon), Brian Norgard (Namesake), Fouad ElNaggar (Redpoint) and Demian Sellfors (Media Temple), spoke about if the next big tech company could be built in Los Angeles?  Well, since the panel consisted of Angelenos you could guess what the overall consensus was.  YES, OF COURSE IT CAN!

However, Despite that fact many of the panelist did not start out in Los Angeles and have built companies elsewhere.  They made the choice to move to LA and build out not only their new venture but help the community thrive as well.  The panel went over everything from what is missing here in Los Angeles to what our strengths are, and how we as a community can help build an amazing tech hub that will draw people in from all over the world.

We also had the chance to sit down and debrief moderator Jason Nazar.  For a quick run down of what was covered during the panel checkout the interview below.
