J2 Global Buys One Company, Sells Two

Los Angeles-based J2 Global said this morning that it has acquired one company, and divested two. According to the company, it acquired HowLongtoBeat, and divested City Numbers and Callstream. HowLongtoBeat is an online website that lets videogame players track the playtimes of their games. City Numbers and Callstream are both part of J2 Global's UK cloud services business. Financial details of the acquisition and divestitures were not announced. J2 Global owns a significant number of Internet publishing and services businesses, including IGN, Mashable, Humble Bundle, Speedtest, PCMag, RetailMeNot, Offers.com, Spiceworks, Everyday Health, BabyCenter and What To Expectalong with eFax, eVoice, iContact, Campaigner, Vipre, and IPVanish.
