Newegg Focuses On Smart Home Products In September

Los Angeles-based online electronics retailer Newegg says it is launching a new promotion it calls "Smart September", with a new focus on smart home products. According to Newegg, its inaugural Smart September will include special deals on smart home technology, social competitions to win smart home products, special editorial features on smart home products, social media promotions, and more. The company said it will focus on such areas as voice controllers; DIY smart security products; smart energy saving devices; and home automation for the holidays. Newegg said the new promotion comes as it has expanded its "smart home portal" to include approximately 2,500 products.
