Headspace Offers Free Content Due To Virus Outbreak

Santa Monica-based Headspace, which develops mindfulness and meditation apps and software, says it has opened up new, free content--both to U.S. healthcare professionals, as well as consumers--to help combat rising stress from the ongoing COVID-19 virus outbreak. According to Headspace, it will offer up free Headspace Plus subscriptions to healthcare professionals working in public health settings in the US through 2020 to address rising levels of stress and burnout. The company said it will unlock content aimed at "Weathering the storm" for consumers in English, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese. Healthcare professionals can sign up for a free subscription at a special website, by providering their National Provider Identifier (NPI).
