Finally we get to: Peter Coffee , Director of Platform Research, Salesforce.com His premise is that we should be beyond having to buy servers, software, or any other infrastructure. He sees this as similar to what happened with SMTP, POP, HTTP, etc. Benefit of a proprietary platform can be finding customers. Completely agree.

The start of the argument is that you need to separate using the Internet into “infrastructure & cloud services&# (basically the protocols of the Internet such as HTTP, TCP/IP, SMTP, etc. + My first company was a SaaS software company started in 1999. Because over time users will demand open.
