Brain Corp. Claims Record Sales As Robotics Takes Off

San Diego-based artificial intelligence software developer Brain Corp says it is saw "record sales and revenue growth" in 2019, on strong retailer demand for autonomous, mobile robots. The company said that its saw a more thn 300 percent increase in its revenues last year due to a "surge" in interest in floor care machines that are powered by its BrainOS software by retailers, including Walmart. The company said its software is now used on approximately 10,000 robots. The company said its software is being used to power machines from such companies as Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG, RPS Corporation (Factory Cat and Tomcat cleaning equipment), Nilfisk, Tennant Company, Minuteman International, as well as Softbank Robotics America and ICE Robotics. The privately held company did not disclose any financial details of its actual sales and revenues.
