Semtech Gets Design Win

Camarillo-based analog and mixed signal semiconductor developer Semtech announced a design win this morning, saying that smart home technology developer Savant is using the company's chips in a design. According to Semtech, Savant is using its BlueRiver AV-over-IP chipsets for a new IP video product line. Those products provider 4K video over IP to residential and commercial markets. Shipment volumes and financial impact of the win were not announced.
