ServiceTitan Inc., the Glendale-based developer of management software for the home services industry, announced Feb. 2 that it had acquired Service Pro.Net Inc., a Columbus, Ohio-based software company in the pest control and lawn care business.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the companies said ServicePro will continue to operate as a separate brand under the ServiceTitan umbrella.

“We’re continuously looking to build partnerships that help us deliver premium,
vertical-specific solutions to professionals facing evolving challenges in the field service industry,” ServiceTitan co-founder and Chief Executive Ara Mahdessian said in a statement. He added that the acquisition would support ServiceTitan’s “continued growth” and inspire the company “to innovate and develop new solutions that transform the trades.”

ServiceTitan launched in 2012 and has grown into a top provider of work management software for commercial services providers. The company is valued at more than $2 billion, according to Pitchbook Data Inc., and last year raised nearly $74 million to fund its continued expansion, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

That followed a $165 million Series D funding round in 2018, which the company pledged to use in developing new products and serving new users. This is not the first time the company has grown through acquisition. Over the last three years, ServiceTitan has purchased business management software developers JaRay Software Inc., CUC Software Inc. and Servant Systems Inc.
