Esri Extends Licensing Options

Redlands-based geographical information systems (GIS) software developer Esri announced this morning that it has extended its software and licensing options, to make it easier for an entire organization--not just its GIS developers--to gain access to its products. According to Esri, it is now offering up "flexible, subscription-based" licensing which will let non-traditional users--such as the CEO, urban planners, and others in companies--gain access to its tools. Subscription rates for Esri's ArcGIS 10.7 and Esri Geospatial Cloud tools were not announced. Esri said the new licensing options would provide more flexible licensing options, and that it also will provide a new "pay-as-you-go" plan for developers.
