Echo Gets $7.5M For Microscope Development

San Diego-based Echo, a startup which is developing a new "hybrid" microscope aimed at replacing both upright and inverted microscopes, has raised $7.5M in a Series A funding. The funding was co-led by Dolby Family Ventures and Tech Coast Angels (TCA). According to the company, the new funding will go towards manufacturing, sales, and developing future technologies.
