Cidara Therapeutics Names New CFO, General Counsel

San Diego-based biotechnology developer Cidara Therapeutics said this morning that it has named James (Jamie) Levine as Chief Financial Officer and Jessica Oien, J.D., as General Counsel and Secretary. The company, which develops anti-infective and immunotherapies, said that Levine previously had served at Sapphire Energy, Vereneium Corporation, and Goldman Sachs & Co. Oien was most recently Vice President, Compliance at Otonomy, and also has served for such companies as Pernix Therapeutics, Somaxon Pharmaceuticals, Verus Pharmaceuticals, Elan Corporation, in addition to law firms Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison and Millbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.
