Match Group Says Bumble Dropping $400M Lawsuit

Match Group, the parent company behind LA's Tiner mobile dating service, says that women's dating site Bumble is dropping its $400M lawsuit against the firm, which had alleged theft of trade secrets and fraud. The lawsuit, which had been filed in March of 2018, was a countersuit to an earlier lawsuit against Bumble by Match Group. Bumble's founder had been at Tinder, but left after a sexual harassment lawsuit at Tinder; the dating app developer is much like Tinder, but gives women more control over who they respond to during dating interactions.
